Lord's Taverners Non-Turf Pitch Grants

The Lord's Taverners (accredited by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as the official national charity for recreational cricket) commits 50% of the funds it raises each year to provide grants in support of youth cricket.

Applications can be made for grants towards the installation of non-turf pitches, practice ends and nets . You can apply if you are a cricket club affiliated to a National Governing Body of Cricket, an individual school or an organisation directly involved in the running of youth cricket and which has a genuine need for assistance.

Awards will not normally exceed the following levels:

  • Non-turf match pitch - £3,000
  • Non-turf practice - £2,000
  • Outdoor nets - £1,000

JustGiving for Sports Clubs

Sport England and JustGiving have announced a campaign to bring an extra £22 million into grassroots sport over the next five years through a new partnership called JustGiving for Sports Clubs.

JustGiving for Sports Clubs will help sports club members to raise more money, and claim Gift Aid, using the same award-winning tools as the biggest charities in the UK. JustGiving have dropped their subscription fees - worth £180 per year for every club - for all Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs), so clubs can sign up today.

Barnsley Sport & Activity Forum offer high quality physical education and sports coaching. All sessions are delivered by fully qualified National Governing Body approved coaches who are all insured, CRB checked and 1st Aid trained.
